Join a group or forum

Join a local group to help us understand what matters to people in your community. These groups meet regularly and work together to improve services.

Some of our groups include:

  • North Tyneside Patient Forum: For people living in North Tyneside who want to help improve services. The group meets around four times a year, usually online. You can join any meeting that interests you.

  • County Durham Patient Reference Group: This group brings together patients from local GP practices in County Durham. The group meets every six weeks to talk about local services and share ideas for improvement.

  • County Durham Health and Care Engagement Forum: A monthly meeting for public and community members to plan how we talk with local people about health and care. It also includes people from local services who work together to make things better.

  • Connected Voice – Newcastle and Gateshead: Events are held for community and voluntary organisations in Newcastle and Gateshead. These groups work together to make sure people’s voices are heard in health and care services.

  • Sunderland and South Tyneside Involvement Partnership (SSTIP): A partnership of public and voluntary organisations. They meet every 6 to 8 weeks to share ideas, support each other, and reach more people in their communities.

If you want to join a group or find out more, you can contact our Involvement Team at NENCICB.involve@nhs.net.
