The programme has launched a series of monthly webinars, hosted by the Northern Housing Consortium, for people working across health, housing and care to learn, share best practice and design solutions together.
Join us for our webinar 'housing, health & care prevention models to age well' on Tuesday 17th June, from 10am to 12noon online.
The webinar will focus on how health and housing sectors can work together to support older people maintain their independence and quality of life by engaging with a range of prevention services.
The number of older people living in the region is expected to grow dramatically over the next 10 years and supporting individuals to remain healthy and independent as they age gains importance. Experts will share innovative strategies and real-world examples of successful collaborations.
Themes that will be explored include:

How Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) and Home Improvement Agencies (HIAs) support independence
