What we can offer

We offer online yoga for every body. These gentle sessions are designed to help ease stress and anxiety, build body awareness, and grow self-trust through mindful tuition. They are suitable for all fitness levels, including complete beginners, and are offered online to make them easier to access around work and home commitments.

If you're looking to develop interpersonal effectiveness skills to be assertive, resolve conflicts and improve relationships at work or home, this 6-week, skills-based group is for you!

Dr Al Haysam Al Zadjali, a specialist psychiatrist, works as part of our Hub team to offer specialist support for health and social care staff who want to reduce or explore their use of alcohol or other substances.

His expertise and guidance can be accessed by confidential self-referral to the Hub, or by referral.

If you are starting to be worried about your drinking, then health and social care staff in North East & North Cumbria can access free, confidential, online alcohol support.

Book up to six 1:1 confidential coaching sessions with a Drinkcoach alcohol specialist to help you cut down, for good.

We also provide free workshops and presentations for teams on topics such as wellbeing, burnout, and mental health at work. Why not invite us to your conference or away-day?

If a team has been affected by a difficult or distressing experience, we may also be able to offer support and guidance for managers and teams. This can include psychologically informed support following challenging incidents

Tees Esk and Wear Valleys (TEWV) Staff Mindfulness Service offer mindfulness sessions and courses free to all health and social care staff in the North East and North Cumbria. 

They are an award-winning team of experienced NHS mental health professionals, who are experts in mindfulness and CBT.

They offer drop-in sessions, two-hour tasters, a three-week introduction to mindfulness course, and longer-courses ranging for four to eight weeks. 

The sessions and courses are offered online.

If you are experiencing musculoskeletal pain or problems that are affecting your work or day-to-day life, the Hub may now be able to offer quick access to digital MSK support through Sword Health. This innovative service provides a personalised recovery plan, guided exercises you can do from home, and real-time feedback to help you move safely and build confidence. It is designed to help health and care staff improve mobility, manage symptoms, and stay well at work.

We also offer support for line managers to help workplaces better understand and support Autistic and ADHD staff. This includes online training focused on neurodivergent experiences in the workplace, as well as manager drop-in sessions where managers can ask questions and think through how best to offer meaningful support.

We offer one-to-one menopause consultations through the Hub with Jacqui McBurnie, our Hub Menopause Lead. Jacqui is a highly experienced clinical expert in menopause management and offers a confidential space to discuss symptoms, treatment questions, and practical support.

We offer dedicated support for Autistic and ADHD staff working in health and social care across the North East and North Cumbria. These peer support sessions are designed to provide a thoughtful and supportive space to reflect on workplace experiences, connect with others, and explore more sustainable ways of working and caring for yourself.

Sessions explore themes such as communication, sensory experiences, stress and burnout, workplace expectations, self-understanding, and self-advocacy. The groups are open to staff who are formally diagnosed or self-identifying.
