Julie Gillon confirmed a senior responsible owner for regional data project
Julie Gillon, chief executive of North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust has been appointed as the Senior Responsible Owner (SRO) for the developing Trusted Research and Evaluation Environment (TREE) programme.
The new programme is looking to create a regional approach to improve our collective research approaches and capabilities. This is a key component of the Integrated Care System’s regional digital strategy and provides a holistic approach across the region to drive better insights from research and data in order to improve our health and care outcomes.
Julie said: “The TREE builds on the success we have had to date across the region in terms of our data analysis capability. It will provide a cohesive approach across all our communities. By collaborating with multiple agencies, including our university partners, this means we can build it once and share and collectively, deriving more insights from the data we collect, using this knowledge to support our population’s health and care needs.”
