How the Hub can help you

Confidential Support, Signposting and Therapy

The Wellbeing Hub is open to anyone who works in health or social care in the North-East or North Cumbria. We are a free, easy to access and highly confidential source of support in these challenging times.

We offer support, signposting and therapy.

We try to make it as easy as possible to access free confidential support from one of our experienced staff members.  All you need to do is just

  • Complete our online self-referral form via the button below
  • Or, email us at Hubstheword@cntw.nhs.uk
  • Or, give us a call between 9.30am and 5pm on 0191 223 2030

We are open every weekday, except Bank Holidays. Once we received your self-referral we will quickly be in touch within a working day or so.

Wellbeing Offers and Wellbeing Tools

Many of our free wellbeing offers and wellbeing tools can be confidentially accessed directly through this website without the need to contact us.

If You Need Urgent Crisis Care

We are not able to provide urgent crisis care. If you are in need of immediate support, there are services that can help straight-away. SHOUT provide a confidential dedicated 24/7 text service for health and social care staff - Text NHSPH to 85258. You can also call the Samaritans for free on 116 123 (UK and the Republic of Ireland). You can also contact your local mental health crisis service and details of your local service can be found here.

Hub information and resources

The Hub provides support for health and care staff across the region which can be accessed directly by staff or through manager and occupational health or wellbeing service referrals.

We have a range of materials available to help promote the Staff Wellbeing Hub to staff in organisations.
